After my diy weaving project i felt like i needed another challenge so i decided to tackle another large scale project that s been on my list a diy rug from scratch. Press it flat to remove all creases. With projects like this the personalizing possibilities are truly endless any color scheme would be fun. Lay the cotton batting on top of the rug pad also pressing out any creases or folds.

If you added two inches of fabric fold the fabric on top of itself first to create a hem and then fold over the mat. Lay the no slip rug pad on the floor. And you can make one too any size you want. Ready to make one yourself.

I desperately needed a new rug and i tirelessly searched for one that i absolutely loved that was also. I am not sure the rug could be any larger than the width of the fabric you choose.
