This incredible rug is made on a wooden loom that is also handmade. I have been looking for a great quality yarn for rug hooking and halcyon has it. Wrap braids clockwise if you want an oval rug then start with a long center and wrap the braid around in a clockwise direction. Start with a simple design like a stripe wavy pattern or block.
